So yesterday, I attended a Giorgio Armani makeup event at Saks 5th Avenue in Beverly Hills, with my lovely boss Amanda of Socialite Auctions. I was invited to this event by Blogger Babes, which I am really thankful for, because I am so glad I got the opportunity to try Armani makeup. I had never tried it before, but let me just say, I am hooked! The event consisted of a great presentation which reviewed the whole makeup and skin care line. It gave Il Maestro Giorgio Armani’s philosophy and how he wanted his products to resemble the fabrics he uses. He really carried that idea out because the products feel amazing on your skin, just like silk or velvet. We even got a little sneak preview of the fall and holiday collections! I ended up buying the Lip Maestro which is like a matte lip gloss in a Blood Orange color; I’m not used to having a bold lip but I really loved the color and I can’t wait to wear it! I also bought the Maestro concealer, which works wonders, it really makes your skin glow! At the end of the event, we had the privilege of being interviewed by Scenester.tv, which is what the last photo shows. Hopefully, I’ll be able to upload the interview soon! ;)
Tonight, Andres and I will are going to celebrate our anniversary at Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel. I’m so excited because I’ve never had dinner there and because it’s Disney, of course! :)
